Russian Citizen With No Visa Or Money, Detained At Thailand Border

Cambodian soldiers have detained a Russian citizen wandering along the border of Thailand in the province of  Oddar Meanchey Samraong  previous week. According to the officials, he was handed over to the police and will be expatriated if he can pay a flight ticket.

According to the chief of deputy provincial immigration police, Long Sokun, the name of the individual is Denis Kolesnikov and he is 35 years old. The individual has not legal Cambodian visa or stamp of entry in his passport when he was found. He also informed that the individual had changed the story many times when questions were asked to him of how he landed in Cambodia.

He also informed that the individual’s passport has revealed that he had most currently got a visa to enter Thailand, and had got a visa for Burma and Laos. Denis Kolesnikov was found with hammock, an identity card of Armed Forces of Russia, two passports, one of that was expired in the year 2014 and few rations and had got no money.

According to the Investigation Director,  Immigration Department of Interior Ministry, UK Heiseila, the individual had told that he just want to return back home but do not have money. The individual stays in detention at an office of immigration police in the province of Siem Reap and has been asked for organizing this flight tickets.
