Immigration Fraudsters appear before Montreal Court

Two brothers were arrested in connection to the immigration fraud by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in the month of May. The men from Dollard-des-Ormeaux were presented before the Montreal courtroom for proceedings on Tuesday morning. The brothers from Quebec’s English-speaking town, Rajinder and Resham Singh used to run a consulting firm in the West Island suburb. According to CBSA, both the men used to take advantage of the people who wanted to migrate to Canada.  Further proceedings, in this case, will be held on October 11 in a Quebec Court. The charges faced by the two accused brothers are:

  • Advising people to provide false information in their immigration applications.
  • Use to forge or fake documents
  • Pretending as immigration representatives without any authorization.
