According to the reports of WSOC, foreign workers of the local amusement park, 27 Caro winds, in South Carolina will have to leave the United States soon, as they are accused of immature drinking and running from the Police.

The report reveals that dozens of Carowinds employees have been laid off. An international worker stated, "I just feel sad because I never thought that this was going to happen."

The worker arrived in the United States on a J1 visa, as part of the Exchange Visitor Program administered by the U.S. Department of State.

The Police report says that a group gathered in the Motel 6 parking, all of them ran off when deputies arrived. Authorities arrested 10 of the foreign workers, who admitted to drinking alcohol, even though they are not legally (not 21 years old) eligible to drink in the United States.

The exchange workers live close to Clarion Motel and no one was involved in any criminal activity.

Carowinds said to ‘Whistleblower 9’, that it did not respond on workers’ matters. However, the police report shows that some 27 employees have been fired. Carowinds employs 4,000 people, out of it 3.3 percent foreign employees are on exchange visas.
